Veterinary expense is our greatest need. The cats and dogs need vaccines, health checks, spay/neuter, de-worming, and preventative medications. Our seniors are usually on maintenance medication such as arthritis medications while our new intakes usually need antibiotics for some type of infection.

In the recent years, there has been a large increase in the requests for helping community cats (feral cats, abandoned cats, and strays). We do our best to help these cats. However, we need experienced fosters who can socialize feral cats and undersocialized cats. Time commitment of at least 6 months or until the cat is socialized enough for the shelter life, whichever is less.
Do you have a skill that would benefit our animals? Since our rescue is entirely volunteer-based, there is so much to do! Landscaping? Carpentry? Cat socialization? Trapping? The last one is essential in our efforts to help community cats. Email us at: seymourcares@yahoo.com

Traditionally, our animal intakes are owner surrenders or overflows from crowded municipal shelters. However, due to the high demands, we have expanded our efforts in helping the community cats (feral cats, abandoned cats, and strays). We can continue this work and help more cats but we need experienced fosters who can house and socialize feral cats and undersocialized cats. This difficult but rewarding task requires a time commitment of at least 6 months or until the cat is socialized enough for the shelter life, whichever is less. Please download and fill out the foster application below and email it back to seymourcares@yahoo.com.
